Who we are

Homeiffy LLC ("Homeiffy", "we", "us" or "our") operates this website and sells furniture directly to customers in the United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to this website and to email we send you about your orders. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to.

Information you give us

We collect the following directly from you, only when you choose to provide it:

  • Order information: name, shipping address, billing address, email address and phone number, so we can process and deliver your order.
  • Delivery details: apartment or unit number, floor, access notes and any delivery instructions you add at checkout.
  • Contact and quote requests: your name, email, phone number and the content of your message.
  • Newsletter signup: your email address, if you subscribe.
  • Order lookup: the order reference and email address you enter on the order tracking page.

Payment information

We do not collect, process or store your card number, expiry date or security code. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and never pass through or rest on Homeiffy servers.

We receive from Stripe only a confirmation of payment status, the last four digits of the card, the card brand, and the billing address associated with the payment. Stripe processes your payment information under its own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.

Information collected automatically

We deliberately keep this minimal. This site does not load Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers, session recording tools or cross-site behavioural profiling of any kind.

Our servers record the IP address of requests to our contact, quote, newsletter and checkout endpoints. We use this solely for rate limiting, to stop automated abuse and spam submissions. These records are short-lived and are not used to build a profile of you.

Browser storage and cookies

Your shopping cart, wishlist, compare list and saved room layouts are stored in your own browser using local storage. That information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us until you actually place an order, and we cannot read it before then.

You can clear this at any time through your browser settings. Doing so empties your cart and wishlist.

Stripe sets its own cookies on the hosted checkout page for fraud prevention and to keep your payment session working. Those cookies are strictly necessary to take a payment securely.

How we use your information

  • To process your order, take payment, and arrange delivery.
  • To send transactional email: order confirmation, shipping notifications, delivery updates and return authorisations.
  • To respond to contact form messages, quote requests and customer service questions.
  • To send marketing email, only if you have subscribed to our newsletter.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and automated attacks.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose it only to the service providers who make the store work, and only to the extent they need it:

Other disclosures

We may disclose personal information where we are legally required to do so, in response to lawful requests by public authorities, to enforce our Terms and Conditions, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Homeiffy, our customers or others.

If Homeiffy is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: retained for seven years to satisfy tax, accounting and warranty obligations.
  • Contact and quote messages: retained for up to two years after the enquiry is resolved.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe.
  • Rate limiting records: retained for a short rolling window measured in hours, then discarded.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of your information, a portable copy of it, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under their state statutes. To exercise any of them, email support@homeiffy.com or write to us at the address below. We will verify your request using the email address associated with your order, and we will respond within the timeframe your state law requires, generally 45 days.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on those grounds. We do not use personal information for automated decision-making or profiling.

If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response. Where your state provides one, you also retain the right to complain to your state Attorney General.

Marketing email

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional email about an order you have already placed, since we need to be able to tell you where your furniture is.

Children's privacy

This store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit using TLS. Payment card data is isolated with Stripe and never reaches our systems. Access to order records is restricted to personnel who need it to fulfil orders and provide support.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

Where your information is processed

Homeiffy operates in the United States and our service providers process personal information in the United States. We sell and ship domestically within the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email to customers with an active order or newsletter subscription.
